First week of February (03-06) ENRICHER hubs trainers and trainees had their final intensive (online) week (ToT4). The focus of the 4th and final training week was all about preparation for the projects next phase: establishment of Green Tourism hubs in each partner universities structure. All partner universities in Georgia and Moldova have to plan and implement training activities in their hubs. Before that, they have to create a sustainable Business Model for their hub followed by suitable purchases of equipments, software and literature.
During this training week all participants started to create Business Model Canvas for their Green Tourism hubs. They were addressing key questions such as what types of activities can be integrated into the hub’s business model to assess and solve local problems, who the key users and clients are etc. Training sessions were integrated with the previous ToT trainings on Sustainability in Tourism, Service Design, and Design Sprint into the concrete ideation of hubs. Throughout the week, EU partners were mentoring participants and shared experiences from successful hubs within the Ulysseus Alliance.
Training feedback from this final ToT training week was again positive. Some comments from participants: “I learned how to integrate local context and stakeholders into a hub’s business model to solve community challenges effectively.” “I learned how to select the appropriate resources for the hub, including human resources.” Today, we had a very productive first part of the training, where we learned about digital tools that can be applied in the smart education process”.
