ENRICHER HUBS Project Successfully Conducts All Four Training Weeks

The ENRICHER HUBS project recently concluded a series of four intensive training weeks aimed at enhancing and updating the competence in sustainable tourism and service design within universities in the project’s target countries Georgia and Moldova.

Each university involved in the project had three participants in the trainings, total of 18 participants from the three universities in each country. The same participants attended each training. The four-day trainings consisted of lectures, workshops, and discussions. Participants were introduced to various sustainable development and service design theories, models, and tools.

Two of the training sessions were conducted online, while the remaining two were held face-to-face. These “Train the Trainers” weeks covered the following topics:

  • ToT1: Sustainability Thinking (Kutaisi, Georgia)
  • ToT2: Design Thinking (online)
  • ToT3: Service Design in Action (Comrat, Moldova)
  • ToT4: Business Thinking and Activities (online)

The Training of Trainers (ToT) model was intended to prepare new trainers in a particular topic or skill, or with overall training so that they in turn can train others and disseminate the acquired knowledge and skills further.
