Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences brought international project coordination into focus at its Research Day on September 26, highlighting two Erasmus+ CBHE initiatives and Ulysseus European University Satellite projects: ENRICHER hubs and TeProD. Both projects, coordinated by Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, aim to strengthen higher education through meaningful international collaboration and innovation.

The session was led by Nora Lappalainen (Project Manager of ENRICHER hubs), Jani Siirilä (Project Manager of TeProD) and Saara Ojaranta (project coordinator in both projects). It provided valuable insights into the realities of coordinating large-scale, multi-country projects. The speakers shared their experiences in managing diverse international consortia, fostering trust among partners, and ensuring that project outcomes translate into tangible, long-term impact.

ENRICHER hubs (2024–2026) is focused on advancing green tourism education through collaborative learning across five countries. TeProD (2025–2027), on the other hand, supports the professional development of teachers and students in Sub-Saharan Africa, addressing the challenges and opportunities of the twin transition—digital and green.

While the projects differ in scope and geography, they are united by a shared commitment to capacity building and sustainable development. Their close collaboration, through shared tools, strategies, and peer support, has created a strong foundation for mutual learning and amplified impact.
