Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University successfully completed a multi-day Business Challenge and ENRICHER Hub series of activities aimed at enhancing students’ practical business skills and bridging academic knowledge with real industry experience. The initiative brought together students, trainers, and local company representatives to collaboratively work on real business cases and innovative solutions.

The Business Challenge commenced on December 2 at the ENRICHER Hub, where students received an introduction to the program’s objectives and practical guidance on tackling real company challenges. After forming three working groups — Burgundy, Green, and Yellow — participants conducted social media research, SWOT analyses, and developed Research Walls, culminating in final group presentations.

On December 3, the groups continued their collaboration with intensive brainstorming and analysis sessions, refining their findings and discussing business challenges, potential solutions, and strategic insights.

The week’s activities expanded beyond the university setting with a study visit to the “Tsivi Cheese” company on December 4. During the visit, students explored production processes, manufacturing technologies, safety and quality practices, and product distribution strategies. Students also presented their creative ideas directly to the company’s director, gaining valuable industry feedback and participating in a product tasting session.

Back on campus on December 5, participants reconvened to reflect on their experiences from the visit. Trainers and group members shared impressions, analyzed practical learnings, and compared them with their theoretical approaches. This session highlighted key insights into how academic solutions align with real business operations.

The final day, December 6, concluded with a meeting between student teams and the company representative, where the groups presented their refined business plans. After careful evaluation, one team was recognized for offering the most effective and practical solution to the company’s challenges, showcasing innovation, creativity, and sustainable thinking.

Overall, the Business Challenge and ENRICHER Hub activities provided students with a unique experiential learning opportunity — blending academic foundations with real-world business problem solving and direct engagement with industry professionals.
