Between 19 and 21 May 2026, the ENRICHER hubs project team from nine partner universities gathered in green and beautiful Chișinău. Moldova State University hosted the dissemination conference, along with project activities and a field trip related to sustainable tourism.
The conference, “Green Tourism Innovation in Action”, held on 19 May 2026, brought together universities, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and international partners to share practical experiences and insights in sustainable tourism.

- Entrepreneurs’ perspectives and success stories
- European best practices in sustainable tourism
- Synergies between international projects supporting the Green Deal
The event highlighted the important role of higher education institutions as innovation hubs supporting sustainable and place-based development. We sincerely thank all contributors and partners involved.
On the second day, we held project meeting and workshop related to sustainability plan and exploitation strategy. In addition, we visited at Constantin Stere University of Political and Economic Studies, where we had the opportunity to see their new Green Tourism Hub.
The third day began on short visit of the the MSU’s Green Tourism Hub. After that the day provided us a possibility to experience Moldova’s rich culture and beautiful sights. We visited the hills of Old Orhei, enjoyed the stunning landscapes, and explored the ancient cave monastery. We also went deep underground to the famous Wine City of Cricova, where over 100 km of tunnels and a constant 12-degree temperature create a unique world beneath the surface.
