Throughout the project, the ENRICHER hubs consortium has worked to strengthen sustainable tourism education through a train-the-trainer programme combining sustainability, tourism, Service Design, and Design Thinking approaches. The project has also supported the establishment of six Green Tourism Hubs that promote sustainability, innovation, and entrepreneurship within partner institutions in Georgia and Moldova.
The Wrap-up meeting focused on final reporting, dissemination activities, completion of the remaining deliverables, and the future sustainability of the Hubs. While work on reporting and project closure will continue through online meetings until the end of the year, the partners achieved significant progress during the three-day event.
The programme (below the gallery) featured six presentations showcasing Green Tourism Hub activities and sustainability in action, two dedicated reporting sessions, and three collaborative group work sessions focused on final project outputs and future cooperation. Participants also gained valuable insights from local stakeholders and engaged in discussions on sustainability and the long-term impact of project results.
In addition to the working sessions, partners had the opportunity to experience sustainable tourism practices in the Tyrol region through a field excursion to Nordkette. The meeting also provided valuable networking opportunities, including a social dinner that further strengthened the connections built throughout the project.
An important part of the discussions focused on the future of the Green Hubs and opportunities for continued international collaboration beyond the project’s official end. The wrap-up meeting marked a key milestone for the consortium, bringing partners together to finalize project activities, strengthen international networks, and lay the groundwork for future cooperation.
